Beautiful photo of baba in whom alone i have trust and faith. Yet for the past 5 months i am in deep sea with troubles. lost job, lost source of income, business plans failed. Daily worshipping him for months for His grace, but the time for his intervention has not yet come. meanwhile, my monkey mind is becoming restless. getting less interest in spiritual things.I do not know why i am like this.

Where people accept narrow ideas and where people conduct themselves unjustly or incorrectly, God remains only a witness to all that and has no part to play in such situations. It is the quality of a bright lamp to shed light. In the light thus shed, many persons may be reading texts which they wish to understand. They may also perform several good deeds. They may also perform thefts in the light shed by the lamp. They may use the light as a help to themselves in doing many bad things. But, there is no great reputation which the lamp itself gains by the many scholars who benefit by reading books in the light shed by the lamp, nor is there any disrespect which the lamp acquires because of the false accounts written by people using the light... Whatever bad or good is done, it is not done by the lamp. In the same manner, God does not gather any praise or blemish by the good or bad done by the individuals in this world. He is only a witness to all that goes on.

Amidst cheers, prayers and tears, Swami left for Kodai Kanal this morning as thousands gathered on either side of the road, to greet a warm farewell to the Dearest Son of this holy Puttaparthi…

Swami had already prolonged His stay for about 15 days and all of us were expecting Swami would go to Kodai any time..
There was news running around that Swami might leave this morning (26 th April) and governement owned Indian airlines flight landed in the Sathya Sai Airport around 8:30am confirming Swami’s departure from Puttaparthi.
The selected Students, teachers and other dignitaries were already assembled in the Airport… There was a separate lift placed for Swami to get into the plane and in no time Swami’s flight took off,around 10:30am, as thousands waved from the ground…

Puttaparthi, was fortunate to have Swami a bit longer than He used to …. Courtesy of the marriage and some other functions…Devotees thronged in large numbers, ignoring the scorching sun….

Puttaparthi will now wear a deserted look, SANNATA as they call in hindi.. All the big overseas groups, South Africans, Americans, Russians, all will be gone.. It will be a quite time for other wise busy Puttaparthi…

All the deserving and desiring beggars will be gone (many of them have already worked overtime as Swami prolonged His visit..)… and for all the flower vendors, rickshaw drivers it will be a tough time.

The past 12 months… witnessed a NEW Swami, a big revolution in all our lives.. Two big events that occurred were the two Yagnas in Parthi and Chennai.. We got to witness about 20 discourses in this 12 months.. there is also a sea change in our Sai Family.. Love is blossoming, hatred is declining… jealousy is running away from us… yet we all know there is a long way to go and our Swami will definitely make sure that we reach our Goal.. "

Just as you tend the body with food and drink at regular intervals, you must also tend to the needs of the inner Atmic body by regular repetition of the Name and meditation and the cultivation of virtues. Holy company, good attitude and sacred thoughts are all essential for the growth and the health of inner personality. The body is the mansion of the Lord of the world. In so far as you are particular about coffee or tea at regular intervals, be also particular about meditation and recitation of the Name at fixed times for the health and liveliness of the Spirit.

Then, you must develop mutual love and respect. Tolerate all kinds of persons and opinions, all attitudes and peculiarities. The school, the home and the society are all training grounds for tolerance. At school, the teachers and pupils must be aware of their duties and rights. The relationship must be based on love, not fear. Only an atmosphere of love can guarantee happy cooperation and concord. Above all, be good, honest and well-behaved. That will make the university degrees more desirable and valuable.
